DESIGN RATIONALE
Patient comfort and compliance are the foundation for successful osteoarthritis bracing treatments. OA braces must comfortably relieve the pressure and pain of the affected knee compartment while minimizing distal migration.
OMNI life science TM developed its double upright OA brace around this philosophy. The patented X-Cell System not only serves as a comfortable soft tissue interface for patients that may not be able to tolerate a rigid brace, but also prevents distal migration during activity. Prescribed corrective force is comfortably applied by utilizing a tibial component that encompasses the lower leg from the mid medial to mid lateral lines.
