DESIGN RATIONALE
Acetabular implant design has often been a compromise between linear retention and congruency. The InterFaceTM Cup System employs a locking taper design that delivers excellent liner retention with unsurpassed congruency. |
InterFaceTM liners are manufactured from compression molded GUR 1050 UHMWPE. Time tested ethylene oxide sterilization eliminates concerns over oxidative degradation.
Shells are titanium alloy, coated with a unique dual layer of pure titanium particles: an inner layer of spherical beads, and a geometry beaded surface. This BiophasicTM surface has excellent porosity for ingrowth and excellent roughness for initial stability.
