DESIGN RATIONALE
Inspired by the clinically proven design philosophy of a dual tapered stem geometry, the APEX K1 stem is engineered to provide immediate primary fixation and torsional stability. The K1 is unique in combining the aggressive profile of a rectangular distal cross section with a circumferentially coated proximal body to help prevent migration of potentially lytic particles. The APEX K1 stem represents a proven clinical design with an enhanced metaphyseal geometry and surface properties. |
